Journey Systems, LLC. warrants its products to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for the period specified for that product from purchase date unless noted otherwise. If this product fails because of defects in materials or workmanship within the specified period from date of original purchase, Journey Systems™ will service, repair, or at its option, replace those components found to be defective with product of similar specifications. Product MUST be returned to Journey Systems™ for warranty work to be performed, unless and only unless, onsite labor warranty (service agreement) is purchased. Journey Systems™ does not offer an immediate "swap out" of product under warranty, especially in situations where testing is required to determine the nature of the product problem. Labor can be performed onsite at any time for our normal hourly service fee.

1. DESKTOP SYSTEM WARRANTIES

DESKTOP SYSTEM WARRANTIES ( JetStream, Predator and Strategear Models) -(Quest Models) -(Tux Warranties): Three Full Years on all parts, except in the case where a longer product warranty is offered. In such cases, after the three years, the part will be replaced at no charge; the customer will only be asked to pay a nominal hourly labor rate. If a warranty longer than three years is NOT specified at time of purchase, then the default three year warranty shall apply to all parts. Lifetime warranty always applies to system memory. Labor is covered for 3 years on a carry-in basis. Defined herein: 3 years carry-in is defined as such: If a system is found to be in defect within 3 years from original purchase date, system must be brought in to Journey Systems™ for service. Every effort will be made to have the service work performed within 24 hours of system drop-off. If a component is found to have a longer warranty than specified above, the end user may exercise the right to pursue such extended warranty, as long as it is understood that Journey Systems™ is in no way responsible for shipping, handling, or other costs associated with end user's component RMA pursuits. Three year labor warranty only applies to defects in materials and/or workmanship and does not cover system problems that arise from software corruption, user error or abuse of the equipment. Labor warranty is voided if the seal on the back of the case is removed by anyone other than a Journey Systems™ technician.

2. NOTEBOOK WARRANITES

NOTEBOOK WARRANITES: One Full Year on all parts, except in the case where a longer product warranty is offered. If an extended warranty is purchased, after the first year, the part will be replaced at no charge. If a warranty longer than one year is NOT specified at time of purchase, then the default one year warranty shall apply to all parts. Lifetime warranty always applies to system memory. Labor is covered for 3 years on a carry-in basis. Defined herein: 3 years carry-in is defined as such: If a system is found to be in defect within 3 years from original purchase date, system must be brought in to Journey Systems™ for service. Every effort will be made to have the service work performed within 24 hours of system drop-off. Labor warranty does not cover the cost of components only the labor involved in changing them out. If a component is found to have a longer warranty than specified above, the end user may exercise the right to pursue such extended warranty, as long as it is understood that Journey Systems™ is in no way responsible for shipping, handling, or other costs associated with end user's component RMA pursuits. Three year labor warranty only applies to defects in materials and/or workmanship and does not cover system problems that arise from software corruption, user error or abuse of the equipment. Labor warranty is voided if the seal on the back of the case is removed by anyone other than a Journey Systems™ technician.

3. COMPONENT WARRANTIES

COMPONENT WARRANTIES: Journey Systems™ will warrant any "new" product sold separately 30 days from purchase. Journey Systems™ will honor the first 30 days at its retail store, where we will test the item for the defect and replace if found defective. We do not offer refunds. After 30 days, the component must be sent back to its manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement.

A) Be sure to buy exactly what you want/need.
B) You will not be able to use our systems or parts to test your system or parts!

BOTTOM LINE: Journey Systems™ is responsible for honoring its warranty, only if the following conditions are met:
1) Customer receipt MUST be provided for warranty to be honored. Journey Systems™ is NOT responsible for lost receipts.
2) Any manuals, boxes, or software that came with a particular product MUST also be returned if the unit needs to be exchanged. Manuals come with most peripherals. Should manual not be provided, it is the customer's responsibility to request a manual within 10 days of purchase. If the same identical product is in stock, Journey Systems™ will keep whatever items the customer does not bring back with the defective item. However, this is the only instance where an exchange with missing items will be permitted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3) Boxes for any product marked SPECIAL ORDER must be kept if an exchange is necessary. Keep in mind that service or exchange on any special order item may take anywhere from 1-2 weeks after the product is returned to Journey Systems™.

5. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Journey Systems™ is not responsible for, nor shall it warrant or service, any software on a system OTHER THAN the operating system. As an OEM system builder, it is Journey Systems™ responsibility to you, the customer, to service and support OS related problems UNDER WARRANTY. However, any other software loaded on a new system OR software bought AFTER system is purchased is the responsibility of the individual software companies to provide support. If an after-market piece of software causes system problems, it is NOT the responsibility of Journey Systems™ to repair the system under warranty. We will be happy to help you with your problem at our normal hourly labor fee. Journey Systems™ is not responsible for giving FREE TECH SUPPORT for installation or integration of any software or component the customer did not pay Journey Systems™ to install. Journey Systems™ is not responsible for loss of data or time, even with hardware failure. Customers are responsible for backing up any data for their own protection. Journey Systems™ is not responsible for any loss of work ("down time") caused by a product requiring service. This warranty is null and void if the defect or malfunction was due to damage resulting from operation not within manufacturer specifications. It will also be null and void if there are indications of misuse and/or abuse. Journey Systems™ has the option of voiding the warranty if any one other than a Journey Systems™ OR a pre-approved A+ certified technician attempts to service the product. Journey Systems™ will not warrant any problems arising from an act of God (lighting, flooding, tornado, etc.), electrical spikes or surges, or problems arising out of hardware, software, or additional devices added to compliment any system /component bought at Journey Systems™. Journey Systems™ will not be held responsible for typographical errors on sales receipts, repair tickets, or on our website. There are NO returns on opened software; unopened software may be returned in the first 10 days. A 15% restocking fee applies to all items returned that are purchased in error or not returned for an even exchange, including a cancelled system order. Journey Systems makes every effort to make sure all information on our website is correct.
